A Few 2012 Predictions Because I'm Bored

Obama is finally going to admit to his incompetence saying "fuck it, I'd rather play golf anyway", leaving the White House in his mom jeans, a pack of smokes and shouldering his bag of sticks and balls.

In a last ditch effort to save the U.S. dollar from total irrelevancy, the Fed is going to print rolls of Benjamins for sanitary use.

The rumored Apple TV will in fact become a wonderful doorstop.

The end of the world will not happen but you will wish it had following the economic collapse and social turmoil that will ensue.

You'll be happy buying a gold coin or two at $1400, sad when your purchase falls to $1200 while grudgingly buying another couple, then ecstatic when the price of gold reaches past $1800 by the end of the year.

You'll need big balls if you've bought silver. It will greet $17 in short order. Dumbasses the world over will be flinging themselves into the path of moving buses and whirling prop plane blades grieving their egregious losses. Survivors will be curling their mustaches with cognac fingertips as the price recovers into the mid 30's.

God is going to make it official and give Adele wings to go with her heavenly voice.

Jennifer Aniston still won't make a movie worth a crap.

People will finally discover what a kick-ass TV show Supernatural is while at the same time figuring out how over-rated The Walking Dead has become.

2012 will be the first year that every Hollywood movie released into general consumption will be a sequel, remake or creation of some comic book.

Microsoft's Windows phone will surprise folks and become a viable alternative to the proprietary arrogance of Apple's iPhone and something different from the ubiquitous Android.

Gun sales will increase every month in 2012. Interestingly, Apple's iGun flops due to proprietary ammo and yearly magazine upgrades.

The Internet, and more specifically the World Wide Web, will become endangered by the American political class seeking to gain additional control over the herd. Internet taxes will be widely discussed as well as steps to censure content. The result is likely to unite leftists, independents and conservatives like nothing else could have. Lost Ball retreats to Usenet while a splork is rumored to be growing grapes on a Chilean plantation.

A Word or Two Before 2011 Disappears Into the Shitpile of History

A few words as the new year approaches:

The herd loves the Kindle and Nook book readers. As an old fashioned fucker I have no use for the devices. I like books. I like used books. Not only do I walk amongst the dinosaurs but I am also very much a cheap bastard. Nonetheless, if you (as a burgeoning web sewer magician) are not contemplating how to create clever assemblies of words to be sold for these devices then you are losing a residual income opportunity. As I allow domain after domain to expire or be sold each month I will be spending my time as an esteemed author of the highest order.

My wife took a chance and upgraded her POS HTC Android and got herself a Windows phone. My first reaction was along the lines of what the fuck? Microsoft has a phone? Why did you not at least participate in the proprietary arrogance of an iPhone or get yourself a beefier 'droid. She being a consumer of prominent acumen did her research and determined the HTC Titan to be of value. After assisting the marital unit with downloading pertinent apps, syncing her contacts and shit, I determined that the phone is one badass motherfucker. In fact that is what I refer to it in conversation with the unit. Hey Mrs. Splork, how is the "badass motherfucker"? Microsoft may take its sweet time in creating worthwhile products but let me tell you, this phone is outstanding. Google and Apple may be well ahead but don't discount Microsoft next year.

Obama is set to ask Congress to increase the debt limit again. This time the asshole wants $1.2 trillion. It will put our overall debt up to $16 trillion or so. Congress is ever so happy to give it to him. It is rather interesting that Obama called Bush "unpatriotic" for increasing the debt limit 4 trillion in 8 years. It only took Obama 3 years to be that "unpatriotic". Funny how in 2006 every single Democrat voted against raising the debt limit but today they are more than happy to give their Dear Leader all the money he needs to expand the government. Assholes one and all. Fuck it, just raise the debt ceiling to $100 trillion and be done with it. $16T. $100T. Neither will be repaid.

We obtained a Blu-Ray player as a family gift of sorts. It wasn't a priority as I am rather sick of material clutter (except food storage, water, guns and bullets) but the price was ridiculous and it gave us a chance to watch Amazon Prime movies through the device. I must say I was amazed at the quality of the picture of the movies. How it can be better than a regular DVD player is astonishing as I thought those were pretty damn good. But Blu-ray movies look great. The first movie we rented was Thor. Excellent movie. Couple of days later we rented Horrible Bosses. Jennifer Aniston's boobs notwithstanding, that was a shitty movie. Thought that crap was supposed to be good!? Anyway, I think maybe I might have a movie review column on this esteemed blog just for shits and giggles. It's already pretty worthless. Adding a few well placed words on movies or whatnot won't really matter.

My youngest and I received a mini helicopter from Santa. After an hour or so of crashing the thing into every head, wall, table and chair in the splork abode, we finally got it under control. The morning after Christmas the oldest was awakened by a helicopter hovering a few inches above her head. She was not amused, but I damn sure was.

Obama Pisses on Energy Security For United States

If in the near future you folks living in the United States of Socialist Amerika find yourself in a bind over oil prices, or supplies being less than what you hope them to be, find oil-based products exceedingly high or gasoline ripping more pennies from your pocket, by all means make sure you place the blame squarely at the fucking idiot the vast majority of you assholes voted into the land's highest office.

You see, our neighbors to the north practically begged this country to add another pipeline so they could easily disperse their huge resources into our economy. Canada wanted the U.S. to build the Keystone XL pipeline. Obama decided that would not do as too much is owed the fucking wealth destroying, socialist, leftist environmentalist fucktards. You see the elections are upon us. No political decisions will happen in this country for the next year, unless the ability to pander to the constituency herd is accomplished. Fucking pathetic.

So Obama basically told Canada that we wouldn't be building the pipeline and certainly not until he is re-elected.

This is problematic for at least one giant reason, energy security. See, Canada wants to move the product. They wanted to provide us with the oil. But now they are planning on shipping it to Asia. All the while the good people in Amerika are getting supplied by the oh so friendly Middle Eastern sheiks.

This week Canada's Prime Minister Stephen Harper said,

"I am very serious about selling our oil off this continent, selling our energy products off to Asia. I think we have to do that."

"When I was down in the United States recently, it was interesting. I ran into several senior Americans who all said, ‘Don't worry, we'll get Keystone [pipeline] done. You can sell all of your oil to us.' I said, ‘Yeah we'd love to,' but I think the problem is now that we're on a different track."

The implications are Canada is tired of being jerked around by American politicians. They will run that pipeline West and ship that shit to Asia.

This country is led by complete morons and we will all suffer for it. Obama alone could have made a single call and said "build this fucker." Thousands of hands would have begun work and millions of barrels of oil would be flowing into the U.S. resulting in decreased need for Middle East oil.

Un-fucking-believable.

I hope Harper is bluffing. But why would he be? That oil will be enriching another region while we blow on our windmills and burn solar panels for warmth.

Obama is a Liar - Deceives About Capitalism to Appease His Dwindling Base

One day I'll get around to writing a real post. Things are quite busy right now so I haven't really had time to sit down and formulate some thoughts on anything worthwhile. I do feel compelled to re-share this video by...Glenn Beck. OK, settle down. Quiet down. I realize that many people feel the man is a an idiot or baboon or lesser human substance but these are the same people that has never bothered listening to him.

He had an interesting segment on his web TV show yesterday on Obama. Seems our favorite liberal socialist hit the campaign trail demonizing Capitalism. Apparently the fascist is not a fan. Said capitalism never worked.

Privacy From Our Overlords

Privacy is for shit anymore. Just found out that my Android phone probably has been spying on me and sending the results back to some nefarious outfit called CarrierIQ. From Yahoo via the Atlantic Wire:

An Android developer recently discovered a clandestine application called Carrier IQ built into most smartphones that doesn't just track your location; it secretly records your keystrokes, and there's nothing you can do about it.

Now, most companies want desperately to spy on you but they give you a choice to opt out. Remember those Firefox boxes that would pop up when the damn thing crashed and asked if they could collect the info about the event? You could opt in or opt out.

These CarrierIQ assholes don't give you the option. They run some little program in the background, so secretive the program, it took an Android developer to discover it. And when this dude, Trevor Eckhart, tried to go public, CarrierIQ "aggressively" tried to keep him from doing so, to the point the Electronic Frontier Foundation (EFF) took up his case.

Now what the fuck is this company collecting that is so important that the purchaser of these phones are not to know that the keystrokes are being logged?

I use TextSecure on my Android. You know, because governments have decided that it is fine for law enforcement to look at your phone records pretty much whenever they want without warrant. Well unless you have the passcode you won't be reading texts on my phone. But of course even encrypted, if the fucking program is logging keystrokes, the conversations are collected in a database somewhere.

You know, as long as the federal government is wiping its collective ass with your privacy rights, then why would we expect them to protect our privacy from private companies?

My online experience has drastically changed. I use Cocoon to hide my IP address as I surf. I use additional add-ons like Better Privacy, No Script and Ghostery to protect my surfing habits. For web searches I use Startpage. From their homepage:

When you search with Startpage, we remove all identifying information from your query and submit it anonymously to Google ourselves.

I keep my email secure with Hushmail as well. It works best when you email others with a Hushmail account which I insist on with family and close friends.

BTW, No Script will fuck up your browser experience if you don't know what you're doing. It's excellent at killing scripts but since most webpages are full of them the page will look like a third grader built it or shit won't work. You'll spend some browsing time enabling those scripts back in your pages. It's cool, for instance I haven't seen a Google ad on webpages I visit since I installed it.

Anyway, I happily participate in any means possible to fuck up the machine and protect my privacy. Of course now I have to deal with this CarrierIQ shit. I suppose some propeller head will provide a means to block this egregious invasion of privacy.

Look, I realize that this sounds like I am turning into a tin-foil hat, bearded, conspiracy man having a psychotic breakdown slapping strangers in the face with pizza slices. Of course we know this to be untrue as it's obvious I enjoy a distinguished mustache with a slight curl at the tips and prefer Molotov meatballs to the nuts.

I recommend you protect what's left of your privacy. Be as anonymous as possible. Try to achieve invisibility in regards to the machine, both corporations and government. They do not have your best interest at heart. They only want to profit from you and control your life. Fuck that, people. Fuck that indeed.

It's a Mad, Mad World

I was embarrassed to be an American after watching the coverage of  "Black Friday". Rioting over a damn $2 waffle iron? Pepper spraying people so you can ensure you will get a TV? Walking over a man having a heart attack? Stampeding into stores at midnight to buy cheap, plastic shit? No dignity whatsoever. Me? I took my youngest to the gym, worked out and then had a pleasant swim. We pretty much had the pool to ourselves. Guess everyone was standing in line checking out with their 50 cent towels and $249 LCDs.

It's not just the US. The world has gone mad, which to me is basically the U.S., Europe and the Middle East. All in the news 24/7. Countries are drowning in debt. Governed by complete morons and/or dangerous psychopaths. Citizens sitting in the pot slowly boiling without a clue.

I wonder what life is like in countries that are not theocracies or war machines. What is life like on Belize where the only thing worth worrying about is the sand accumulating in your jock? What are the peaceful citizens of Uruguay thinking about today? Is life in Singapore as stressful as it is in the United States where we now deal with black clad Nazi-style military police across towns and cities large and small? Is it as intimidating and unpleasant to travel from Finland to Switzerland as it is from the United States to anywhere and back? Or even from Atlanta to Denver and back?

I continue to consider my options abroad. From residence, banking, investing, I no longer feel like my best option, my safest option, to be within the United States. If not for family, friends and church, I would immediately seek refuge elsewhere as far from the reach of the imperial federal government as possible. Regardless I find it imperative to make alternate plans to remove myself and family from this ever increasing police state and financial shit pile.

The U.S. is this weird fusion of crony capitalism, Socialism, police state and constitutional republic. Leaders love crony capitalism and hate the constitutional republic. Takers love Socialism. Big government loves to expand their presence into the States with DHS military partnerships. All the while a few citizens are doing everything they can to reign in control of the government.

The Tea Party tried and was seemingly neutered by the establishment Republicans. Occupiers had potential but was subverted by the unions. What was a movement is now your basic inner-city camp out. Of course, the Tea party wants government smaller and the Occupiers want the government more involved. But the useful idiots of OWS still didn't get that their message was really about crony capitalism. They were too stupid to take advantage of their moment.

Lost ball indeed. Irony that I feel more lost than ever due to the world wide collapse. Making money online is the least of my worries. My online activities from whence this blog was spawned continues unabated. Success is met with failure. I don't take it very serious.  The activities that are required of a successful online business interests me little. Collection of email addresses, social interaction via Facebook, paid forums...all that shit, bores me. I continue to do the least amount possible while collecting a few coins in the process to make it worth the effort.

I think it is important to have multiple income streams. I am still employed but that could obviously change by the end of today. I can make the bills with income made from online activities. It's about survival. Doing what I have to, to survive whatever comes. I was a Boy Scout for many years. "Be Prepared".

Zero out your debt. Hoard food, water and bullets. Make sure you will always have warmth and light, even if the power goes out. Survive.

Things that I would have thought were for asshat conspiracy theorists and redneck preppers are now important to me. I sure hope I don't have to use any of the things I've accumulated or skills I've attained, or in the process of acquiring. I read books about things I would have laughed about 3 years ago. I hoard shit that I never would have given a second thought about last year. Seems silly but I no longer give a shit how it looks or sounds.

This blog has changed since I decided to find other things to write about. Some of you have stuck with this shit for far longer than is warranted and for that I appreciate it. I have to write more. The fewer posts I do the more cynical the content. The more I post the lighter it becomes.

An Evening With Rumsfeld and Deranged Asshat Occupiers in Nashville

The missus and I were invited by friends to attend the Heritage Foundation dinner with Donald Rumsfeld in Nashville. A couple of hundred folks filled tables to hear some words from the HF and remarks from Rumsfeld. A pleasant evening with mostly like minded folks listening to a polarizing man give his historical accounts of working along side Reagan, Thatcher and Bush among others. Truly interesting to hear a man who was there when historical moments, good and bad, were being made. Outside of the political arena the man is quite affable.

Unfortunately the Occupiers found out about the event. They protested outside the hotel on some public land that was their right to stand on. At the beginning of the Rumsfeld talk a woman got up and began yelling “war criminal” at the man. She was unceremoniously hustled out. Unnerving but probably shouldn’t have been unexpected.

5 minutes later a young woman behind us, another young woman and a bearded radical dude across the room began screaming the same shit. They were thrown out on their asses. The hotel security was quick to establish control, Rumsfeld's HUGE bodyguards were not playing around and when we left the discussion there were cops standing outside the door to the conference room. We overhead them (cops) say that the hotel security took care of the problem before they were needed. I was happy to note the cops holding conservative brochures from Heritage.

I wish I was more aware because one of the young woman came up to our table looking for a seat and I heard her say briefly “oh this is reserved”. I didn’t think much about it. I found out in news reports today that some anonymous benefactor paid for their tickets and were apparently properly credentialed. My money says it was a "Code Pink" operative. They were also dressed appropriately for what it's worth.

If you do not agree with Rumsfeld that is more than fine. But there are honorable ways to show your displeasure. These idiots pissed a lot of decent people off and did nothing to advance whatever cause they are squawking about.

It made my wife extremely nervous. These particular Occupiers were bottom line rude and obnoxious. It did, however, awaken me to the possibilities of these radicals doing harm to me and mine at any venue. I am on alert now. If they can infiltrate and disrupt a hotel with security during a paid for dinner and discussion then there is reason to believe they could achieve mischief most anywhere they choose. They are dangerous and have seemingly little to lose, based on how little respect they have for themselves and apparently others. I choose not to dismiss any longer the possibilities of their violent tendencies.

Peace Officers Are Being Replaced By Jackboot Thugs

The people of this country (U.S.) are losing control of its government. Other countries around the world are not so lucky to have a government "for the people and by the people". Used to be that meant something. It really hasn't meant shit since 1860. But now ever more so.

There is so much about the governments in this country from local to state to federal that concerns me. Unfortunately I am becoming more and more concerned about cops. Used to be you could count on "peace officers" . Frankly I am afraid of the local, state and federal gestapos. And that is without the TSA fuckers getting involved. The whole country is becoming a fucking military-style police state right before our eyes. Just take a look at the jack-booted thugs keeping the asshats among the Occupiers in line. Some cities have their own armored personnel carriers.

Because the military cannot patrol our country, and if they could I believe they would do it, they rely on an ever increasing local military presence. Small towns with SWAT teams. TSA teaming up with local law enforcement. What the fuck is all this about? Do you feel safer? I bet this guy who got his head kicked in by these NM shithead cops doesn't:

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) — Two Albuquerque police officers were fired Wednesday following the release of unedited video that showed them apparently doing a celebratory belly bump after one officer kicked a suspect in the head more than a dozen times.

Officers John Doyle and Robert Woolever both were issued termination letters, a police department statement said.

Is this the kind of "peace officers" we want serving our communities? NM did the right thing and terminated them from the force. But would they have even been caught if not for  parking lot surveillance cameras?

Apparently the "Justice" Department (you know, the one with an AG that is either a liar under oath or that is completely incompetent) is sorting through "20 officer-involved shootings and other questionable behavior among officers" in Albuquerque. Unbelievable.

Unfortunately for cops is that people are waking up to their abuses and are taping the interactions. Many cops don't like to be taped and will try to confiscate the camera or arrest a citizen taping a police officer doing his job. Folks you can most certainly tape anyone in a public area doing public business. You can't interfere but you can definitely record the event. The cops do.

I can tell you if I am ever stopped by the cops for even a simple traffic infraction I won't pull over until my phone is recording sights and sounds.  I won't overtly hold up the phone and record the interaction but I will lay the phone in the middle of the console with the camera and microphone facing up...just in case. I simply do not trust the cops anymore.

Look, I realize the vast majority of cops perform their job honorably and some even believe in the service they provide. But look around you. The police are becoming more militarized. Why? The drug war? Terrorism? Ultimately to keep the herd in line? It seems a little too "1984" to me. Too ominous.

I have spent the last year or so consumed with thoughts of leaving this country. To somewhere that is not broke. To somewhere that is not building a worldwide empire. To somewhere that believes in the individual and not collectivism. But to where? Europe is a mess, socialist and militarized. Canada? Too friendly with the buffoons to their South. Singapore? Expensive. Southeast Asia? Not sure I am in an adventurous mood with a family. South America? Uruguay, Paraguay, Ecuador have potential. The bottom line is my family, friends and church. All things that I care about and have problems disrupting or leaving. But there will be a tipping point.

Anyway, the direction this country is headed is disgusting. A Republican president will not make much of a difference. We will still have the fucking Patriot Act lording over our lives. The Socialists, Marxists and communists still want to fundamentally change America. The takers will still overwhelm the makers. Big business and big government will continue to jerk each other off.

I'm just not sure there are enough people willing to give up their "lives, fortunes and sacred honor" for the glory of this once great nation. Men and women of character once defeated tyranny in this country. Today the people of this country seem more willing to embrace and accept tyranny than fight it. The collectivists of NYC, LA, Chicago and other cities are overwhelming the individualists of the heartland.

Isn't It Time the Tea Party and Occupiers Join Forces to Defeat the Establishment? Edit: No

Edit 12Nov: Fuck it. Fuck OWS. I did my best to try to understand whatever the hell these idiots were whining about. I'm a schmuck to think that they could ever be about anything but the the utter destruction of the U.S.

I've been thinking about the "Occupy" movement and the Tea Party. I've been giving some thought to the corrupt Democrat and GOP party.

I'm not sure if people are seeing the potential for historical relevance that the Tea Party and Occupy movements are having on the political discord in this country.

As crazy as it sounds I think it is conceivable that the Tea Party and Occupy movements will one day merge into something far bigger than the establishments want to admit. I couldn't be more of any idiot to think so.

I think that is why the GOP was quick to subvert the Tea Party and is why the Democrats have quickly embraced the Occupiers.

The "establishment" Dems and GOP are not that different. They want the status quo. Spending on wars and military and entitlements.

At the core, the Tea Party nor the Occupiers want this. I think the average Occupier want the government out of their lives just as much as the Tea Partiers. The fucking Occupiers want more government tit to suck on.

It may appear that the Occupiers want more government to fix their problems but I'm beginning to believe that is just media bias. The media, big business and big government all seem to want the same thing: status quo. The media sucks donkey balls. OWS sucks media balls.

They are also extremely scared of the changes that could happen if the Tea Party and Occupiers are not folded into the establishment tents.

Want to see the establishment completely shit themselves? Have the movements come together for an accord. Sure there are disagreements between the movements but damn if they aren't very similar. Remove the racists, rapists and establishment quos from the groups and you have the real possibility of creating change in this country. Remove the rapists and thieves and you are still left with Socialists, anarchists, hippies, druggies, Marxists and communists.

The establishment needs to be afraid of the people. They ARE afraid of the people. It's just too bad that the GOP and Democrat operatives have gained control of their radical elements. Isn't it obvious how powerful our government has become?

Our government is a fucking cesspool. It is corrupt at every level. Too many interest groups creating laws to suit them through corrupt politicians. Fat cats in the Congress getting rich and staying powerful to the detriment of the serfs. Crony capitalists squeezing the middle class. Laws and regulations that are choking the economy. Government spending that is creating massive debt that future generations will not be able to overcome. Printing money to postpone an eventual end game.

What worries me is the (misguided) Marxists, communists and Socialists among the Occupiers. I want no part of that ideology. But I really believe that the intelligent beings among the Occupiers simply want a fair opportunity. Guess what? Marxism, communism and Socialism is not fair. So fuck that.

The Tea Party want what is fair too. Believe it. They want changes just as much as the Occupiers. They just want the government to stay within the confines of the Constitution. What is wrong with following the rules? The only change the Occupiers want is the head of the rich served with a side of salad and Pabst Blue Ribbon. They want nothing but the devolution of the U.S. They want nothing but taking from those that make. Assholes.

Anyway, the Tea Parties and Occupiers would do well to come together. Turn to each other and work toward defeating their common enemy: GOP and Democrats. As a Tea Partier I'd sooner work with a college pot-smoker that wanted an opportunity in a fair capitalist society than some Mitt Romney operative that is excited about the status quo. I don't want nothing to do with these big government leaches and cretins.

Watching the Economic Collapse from My Comfy Chair

Everybody got a comfy seat to watch the collapse of the system? It should be a good one. The Euro-Socialists have blown their wad on Greece - the lesser of all the impending economic collapses. Next up - Italy. A country too big to fail and too big to save. Sort of like California here in the States.

Unless the West stops spending, right now, virtually every single country is going to default. There is no way the United States can ever honor 15 trillion in debts. Plus the entitlements of course. No way. Unless there are massive cuts and government shrinks. And this will never happen no matter what asshole occupies the big chair in the White House. Too many special interests want government cheese. Politicians will never cede power. Too many dependent on government welfare.

The United States government is demonstrating its massive stupidity in putting their latest hopes and dreams on the so-called Super Committee. 6 GOP and 6 liberal asshats are supposed to make a decision where the Congress didn't have the balls or intelligence to make. So what happens? More gridlock. Just in a smaller group. Shocking.

The "Occupy" movement is showing the world what Democracy looks like. It's why this country used to be a functioning Republic. Democracy sucks. Loving the violence from the Occupiers though. They haven't a fucking clue what they are railing against but between puffs on a blunt, flinging a Molotov and abusing some stupid co-ed they are liberals, Islamists, communists, Marxists and Socialists most favorite useful idiots.

Too bad the Occupy movement is populated by morons. Instead of venting their jealousy against Wall Street they should occupy central banks, Congress and the White House. Government policies, regulations and general socialist meddling is what is fucking up everybody's world, not just 35-year old Stan who is tired of living in his grandma's basement.

It is a shame that the people of this country are so divided. The Tea Party protested big government and was co-opted by the GOP. The occupy movement wants bigger government and is co-opted by the left. The parties and movements benefit nobody except the fucking political class.

The political class loves these movements. The social chaos will provide them with even more reason to destroy our liberties and freedoms. You know, all in the name of safety. You would be livid knowing how much shit the government and businesses know about you. Or more to the point, you should be livid. But most sheeple are happy as long as their iPhone works and they can still get a cup of shit from Starbucks. Your privacy is gone. Done. Read the 14 news ways the government is watching you.

I think the only way that the government can be controlled is if we can starve it. The Constitution used to limit the government but the political class no longer follows it. Allow me to venture into a fanciful scenario: A system collapse will reset the country but it is a gamble that a new republic would be formed. Unfortunately the leftists have been planning for this collapse for years (right Francis?) and would probably try to take over ala National Socialist ideology. There would most likely be an ideological civil war. No way the South would follow Marxist or communist doctrines. Plus we have all the guns.

The world is burning. It is not yet a full inferno but we are getting close. I'm watching intently from my comfy chair. The governments will lose control one day. It will be quite a show.

I made a nice chunk of soon to be worthless U.S. dollars from my Halloween Squidoo lenses. I created 35 costume lenses. 28 were mostly useless it turns out. 4 collected a few sales. 2 did really well. 1 was exceptional. Well worth the effort though if the 1 did not do well it might have been a waste of time. I assume Halloween will be celebrated next year so it's nice to have them at the ready.

I am working lenses for Christmas but have yet to really find a successful technique. Simply going to Amazon and creating a lens on the most popular toy is shit as every stay-at-homer is working in that sewage. There are lists upon lists of "popular toys for Christmas 2011". Same goes for electronics. Housewares. Etc. I have to figure out an angle for products that people aren't working. And try to make it informative and interesting too. Just putting up a photo and affiliate link for puppy play poo is not going to work.

Surviving Survivalist Blogs

There are a lot of people preparing for the apocalypse. Seems one of the most popular blog types floating through the web sewers these days is the survival blog. There are more wilderness survival blogs than there are bears shitting in the woods. City slickers have urban survival blogs. The impending economic collapse even has its own survival blogs from people pimping gold and silver. Survivalists have even carved out a niche called "preppers"...those that are preparing for the impending doom.

I'm not sure what the fuck many of these people are doing quite frankly. It's like they've watched too many re-runs of "I Am Legend" or view "The Walking Dead" as a documentary.

I am all about being prepared. We hoard food. We can food. We grow food. We stash water. Collect plenty of bullets. But it's not because I expect "Eli" to walk by with the Book.

I prepare for the possibility of supply disruptions. For civil chaos closing stores for a few days. For a natural or man-made disaster that makes getting supplies difficult for a few weeks. I do not want to have to go stand in line with the herd when I can simply consume from my own supplies. I do not want to have to rely on the government for my needs. FEMA? Please, fucker.

A few years ago I witnessed what supply disruptions can do to people. For some reason gasoline supplies were low in Middle TN, particularly Nashville. People were desperate to get their cars filled up. Lines were hours long. Gas stations were out of fuel. People would literally follow tankers around. It lasted a week or so and sucked it you needed gas. Now, I won't be hoarding gasoline any time soon as I can survive without it. But what if something similar happened with food or water? I've seen a microcosm of what happens to the herd when they get desperate. It wasn't pretty. What do you think these fuckers are going to do when they are hungry?

I prepare for two main scenarios: 1) An electrical grid shutdown from the effects of an electro-magnetic pulse from the sun or from terrorism or 2) Losing my job.

Either way I want to ensure that I have enough cash, food, water, and bullets to outlast any problems that this may cause.

If I lose my job then I want to spend  as much time replacing the income lost without worrying if I can feed my family. Instead of spending hundreds on food I can use that money to pay the mortgage or keep the lights on.

The EMP outage could be devastating. Most people I know carry little cash these days preferring to use a charge card. How are you going to exchange for goods when the bank is closed? The most paranoid think they are going to tool around and have to use gold coins for trade. Whatever. Most shitheads wouldn't know a Gold Panda from a bottle top.

I've seen survival gear lists that would blow your mind. Bug out bags. Tactical gear. Survival kits. Is this survival? This is just consumption. More shit to store.

Look, if your life has the potential of ending because of earthquakes or fires or hurricanes then you would be crazy not to have a preparedness list of gear you need to bug out with. But a wire saw? Only if you intend on sawing through your hotel door I guess.

If you are going into the woods then you need a wilderness survival pack. Absolutely. If you live in the north where snowdrifts are buildings then you need winter survival gear in your car. Of course if you live in the south where snow might touch the ground for more than an hour then you need to plan on the apocalypse complete with 90 days worth of cigarettes, Pabst Blue Ribbon and moon pies. Ever seen a grocery store after the herd grazes through before an impending snow flake? Not pretty.

I own two of the Bear Grylls Survival Kits. We keep them in the car. Mostly it's because they are really cool. I suspect that I will never need them. Then again my daughter swears there will be zombies. She even has a zombie survival guide. No shit.

Survival is a funny thing. Most people prepare like they are going to be home watching Factor X Dancing Idol when the fan hits the shit. Rather I suspect the herd will be slaving away in the cubicles or across town buying yarn or taking the spawn to a shitty movie. That's why minimalist survival is what I'm more interested in.

Today America marks the 10-year anniversary of the Islamic attack on our country on 9/11. It was an insidious act of terrorism and cowardice from our enemies in the Middle East. It has forever changed this county in the most despicable ways imaginable. That one terrorist act has brought down the most free and wealthy country the world has ever known. Despite the disgusting and wasteful wars in Iraq and Afghanistan I do not think for a minute this country has won a motherfucking thing.

Our government has turned a war against Islamic terrorists into a war on their own citizens. 9/11 will forever be marked as the singular event that undermined the freedoms and liberties Americans had always enjoyed. In the name of "patriotism" these ideals have been destroyed. Fuck the Patriot Act nine ways to Sunday.

We are now strip searched without warrant at our airports. Our finances are now meticulously scrutinized by the feds...Want to pay someone $10K? Oops there goes a red flag. We have no idea what the National Security Agency is doing daily via the phone system and Internet. You can damn sure bet every single message or phone call is screened for anything that they deem unreasonable. Have a look around at your communities and tell me what the hell is going on with the militaristic jackboot law enforcement.

Sure we may have gone to the Middle East and slung our missiles over the desert and let our SpecOps folks kill the bad guys, but how exactly has that benefited you? Keeping the terrorist horde over there? Great but it cost us $1.2 Trillion and counting. We are dead broke. $14 trillion in the hole...and counting. Wasn't there a way to safeguard the U.S. without getting in two wars and spending this country into oblivion as well as not reverting to an Orwellian nightmare?

Islamists hate our freedom and liberties. So what did we do after 9/11? We gave them up. Just like they had hoped. Osama achieved everything that he had hoped he would. We let that bastard win by doing exactly what he wanted us to.

Following the attacks Bush over-reached in the powers he desired and took away Americans freedoms. Americans succumbed to false patriotism and unknowingly allowed our leaders to take down the country.

So Benjamin Franklin was right, we deserve neither liberty or freedom. We gave it up for temporary safety. Now we are paying for it with a government that dismisses the Constitution daily. A government that gets bigger and stronger each day. A government that neither fears or responds to the will of the people.

We are all endowed with the unalienable right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness, and that the only function of government was to insure those rights. Apparently we were happy enough to give that up and live under government rule.

A Celebration of Labor Day With Lazy Jackwagons

North America celebrates fuckers working today. The U.S. has its Labor Day and the Canadians enjoy their Labour Day. I don't know shit about Canada and how it's doing economically. I know I buy quite a few resource stocks with their HQ in the perma frost so I hope they keep working their asses off.

The U.S. has its own problems. Last month this country of 300 million people added no new jobs. None. Not a fucking one. To celebrate Labor Day is to get on your fucking knees and be thankful you have a job and pray you get to keep it. Our government is doing everything in its power to ensure the country continues its recession. The current administration may have inherited a sewage tank full of economic shit but, but motherfuckers, they are not competent enough to solve the problem. It's like having someone clean up a fucking frat party by covering it with horse shit. These Chicago government gangsters are idiots.

I began my work celebration early yesterday by spending 4 precious afternoon hours building 8 Squidoo lenses. Waste of time? Maybe. Maybe not. Each month my income from those increase nicely. How? I dunno. I do nothing with or for them but I get paid more each month.

In these perilous days I find that to be important because I feel the need to increase my money supply when I can and while I can. I plan on working in the cubicle slavatoriums as long as I can. It's easy money and they pay for needed benefits and such. Collecting coin from online ventures is part of the economic ritual I endure as well. I survive as a wage slave. I thrive as a web sewer magician.

Of course America is the new Greece. I've read stories where scumbags will apply for work and ask that they be employed in 2-3 months. Seems these lazy jackwagons prefer the easy comfort of having the government, ME motherfucker!, pay for their lounging activities in their over-mortgaged abode while they eat gravy sticks bought with their weekly supply of food stamps and spend their 50th week of unemployment bennies on hand lotion and PBR.

But this is not typical. Americans are badass. If the government at all levels get the fuck out of the way we will work our asses off. We will invent and innovate. This country knows how to create wealth. It's why the rest of the world fucking hates us. We are free, or used to be, to create businesses that are the envy of the world. Now our leaders apologize for our success and are doing everything in their power to control our ability to be great. For whatever reason they see European Socialism as some kind of  wonderful ideology. Fucking Europe. It's worked out so well over there. We know exactly what has worked well. Republic government with a capitalist economy. Our history is fucking amazing. We have freed more people from tyranny and helped more people live a better life than any other country in the history of the world. One day America will get its collective head out of its ass and shitcan these statist, socialist, leftist motherfuckers.

I'm sick of hearing how shitty the U.S. is. This country needs a leader that will stop apologizing for this country. Nobody in the world gives like the U.S. Nobody. Nobody works like America. Nobody creates wealth like America.

I am celebrating Labor Day by create little money makers. I am creating more wealth. It's what Americans do...at least us fuckers that aren't slaves on the American plantation.

Zero. Not One. Nada. Zip. No Jobs Gained in August

The US economy created no jobs and the unemployment rate held steadily higher at 9.1 percent in August, fueling concerns that the US is heading for another recession.

It was the first time since World War II that the economy had a net zero jobs created for a month.

Didn't our dear leader say something about a laser focus on jobs? Didn't our government spend something like a billion dollar to stimulate the economy ostensibly for job creation?

At what point will the Obama Administration get the government out of the way and let the free market economy work?

Their only answer is more government spending and more government meddling. An infrastructure bank. Seriously? How about reform the tax code? How about dump ObamaCare and Dodd-Frank to lessen the burden of regulations on businesses. How about get the damn EPA, HHS and Justice of the backs of Americans and let them get to work and create wealth?

Jackboot Watch - Idaho Man Charged With Killing Grizzly to Protect Family

Jeremey Hill killed a grizzly that wandered onto his property in Idaho. His kids were outside playing. Now the government is going after him for violating the Endangered Species Act.

Apparently the fact that his kids were endangered has no bearing on the common sense of the U.S. Attorney in Idaho who is filing federal charges.

There is not a parent on this planet that would not have put as many holes in the hide of that grizzly to stop it from coming close to their kids. The enviro-wackjobs forget that the grizzly would gladly rip your head off and eat your liver if it thought you were within 20 miles of its cubbies. Apparently human life means so little to the leftist regime that it would be preferable for the grizzly to maul the kids than kill it. Seriously?

After Hill shot and killed the grizzly he called the Idaho Department of Fish and Game which was probably the right thing to do. But I guarantee that the next time something like this happens they won't be getting a cursory call.

Hill has the support of his two U.S. Senators, Representative and Governor. The Governor even wrote a letter to Interior Secretary Ken Salazar for all the good that will do.

Unfortunately the man will have to endure the cost of a trial which will be a complete waste of time and money. Do you really think a jury of his peers will find the man guilty?

I think the feds are more of a terrorist threat to the citizens of this country than the radical cavemen in the middle east.

Rick Perry Promises Limited Government

No wonder the liberals were in full attack mode today. Governor Rick Perry declare his candidacy for President. And in doing so signaled:

I promise I will work everyday to make Washington DC as inconsequential in your lives as I can.

For a government that wants to inflict their power into virtually every facet of your life (Drive a tractor? DOT wants to make you get a CDL to drive it) this is welcome news.

He's saying the right things to rid this country of statism:

He also plans to terminate the healthcare plan.

Liberal Talking Point of the Day - Blame Tea Party

Lberals hit the Sunday talk shows doing what they do best - blame someone else for their mess. David Axelrod, John Kerry, et. al. memorized today's liberal talking points and blamed the Tea Party for the S&P credit downgrade. The downgrade has been a long time coming. Particularly given the proclivities of the statists in both parties in spending tax payers money. Funny thing is if the government had done what the Tea Party said it wanted which is to cut, cap and balance then the S&P downgrade would not have happened. Instead we ended up some mishmash political bullshit agreement that furthers our debt. And we end up with a bunch of liberal whiners mad because it further proves the incompetency of the Obama administration and his minions.

Liberals need to man up. Stop blaming everyone else. It's pathetic. Nobody trusts them. Nobody believes them. They are losers. They are failing. At least the Republicans are saying that it is the government's fault. Both sides are to blame (see Paul Ryan on Fox News Sunday today). At least the Tea Party had a plan. At least Paul Ryan had a plan. The Democrats can't even come up with a budget. Their only plan is raise taxes. Talking point #348 - "shared sacrifice".

Fuck shared sacrifice. 50% of this country don't even pay taxes. Let's broaden the base. Then we can honestly talk about shared sacrifice.

Liberals Are Losing It Over the Tea Party

The left really needs to get it together. First the Tea Party were Tea Baggers. Then racists. Extremists. Cannibals. Vampires. Last week we were terrorists. Today we are drug addicts. I LOVE watching the left squirm. The attempts to marginalize doesn't bother me. It's about respect. They are not respectful to their fellow Americans. They haven't earned my respect, so why so why would I care what they say? They are petty and childish. They are losers. This is what spoiled brats do when they lose and/or don't get their way. The liberal attacks are simply proving the Tea Party has won.

Unhinged Left Pathetically Resorts to Name Calling Tea Party as Terrorists

The left is so completely unhinged over the Tea Party. They have no answers to fight this movement except for name calling. Now Tea Partiers are "terrorists". That's a laugh, and rather insulting, when ALL the movement wants is limited government and to stop the damn spending. The Vice President lashed out at Tea Party conservatives for "acting like terrorists" during the recent budget battle in Congress. Unbelievable that Biden represents us all, no matter what our ideology, yet will stoop to such disgusting rhetoric. It's shameful. You would expect the Tea Party to be battered by leftwingnuts like Paul Krugman, Thomas Friedman, Fareed Zakaria, among other notable leftists, but not the VP. Amazing how fast they all got the memo to refer to the Tea Party as terrorists.

I'm not offended by being called a terrorist. The left is void of any originality. If this is the best they have to argue against the Tea Party then our work is paying off. The left is scared to death. Their policies have been a huge failure. Big government is dying and these media gas bags are resorting to school yard name calling. Real classy.

If the leftist gas bags were silent about the Tea Party then I would be worried. As long as they are pulling out their hair over the Tea Party then everything is perfect.

Tea Party Should Not Squander It's Momentum By Stabbing Boehner in the Back

Update: The debt deal passed the Congress. Obama signed it into law. I am embarrassed today to have succumbed to supporting this piece of shit as discussed below. It seemed like the right thing to do and it ultimately pissed off the far left which is good, but it also pissed off the Tea Party which is not. The country spends too much money. This doesn't help much at all.

I support the Tea Party. I attended the big protest in D.C., supported the local protests and was involved during the November 2010 election. But today they are getting on my nerves. This country needs to move past this debt ceiling impasse. At some point you are going to have to compromise. The Tea Party needs to allow the GOP to take this victory. The Boehner plan sucks but it does no good to stab the man in the heart just to make your point.

Yes I believe in principals. I understand that some of these representatives are standing for their principals. But in doing so the potential for unwinding the victories in Nov 2010 and seeing Obama win in 2012 are real. take the victory today and work on getting another down the road.

Look if it wasn’t for the Tea Party we wouldn’t be having this conversation. They would have raised the debt limit with no strings and just kept on spending, probably adding taxes and driving us down the socialist road. But some of these reps have got to not be so rigid. It’s a long fight. We don’t have to win it all today. You can't change the government immediately. The Tea Party is squandering it's momentum with this ill-advised squabble with Boehner.

I believe that the leadership, Boehner, Issa, Ryan, Pence, West, etc., are all doing what they can in a political shitpile. What else can they possibly do? Nothing they pass will make it through the Senate or past the Presidential robo veto pen.

I don't believe that the government should raise the debt ceiling. In a perfect world we wouldn't have to. In a perfect world the Socialists and leftists would not be in the Senate and we could actually cut spending, reduce strangling regulations and grow the economy, getting people back to work and paying taxes. But that isn't reality.

We have to defeat them when we can. With the Boehner plan we can once again defeat them. We did during the Cut, Cap and Balance plan and we can do it again. But stabbing the Speaker in the back by not even  voting on something is just wrong. Let's send Boehner's plan to the Senate and make them the shit heads. As it is the Tea Party and rigid reps are pissing people off. We simply do not have the power with the Tea Party to fully control this debate. Take the fucking victory that you can!

 

Debt Madness

The politics of the moment are quite revolting. The debt ceiling "debate" is one that everyone should get but few of the clowns in Washington are willing to make the right choices. The statists want to continue to spend taxpayer and borrowed money. Those with a brain do not. The House passed the Cut, Cap and Balance bill much to the chagrin of most Liberals. The Senate won't vote for it. The President will definitely not sign it into law. The games that are played in DC are simply retarded. The right could vote on a bill stating that we all have a right to breathe oxygen and the left would vote against it simply because it was the right's idea. The inverse is true as well.

Our country is broke. It borrows more money than it takes in. There is not a revenue problem, unless you want to throw in that 50% of the county's citizens pay no taxes. There is a spending problem. Most States in this country have to balance their budgets or things shut down. See Minnesota the last few weeks. Most households cut back when the revenue is not there. They (usually) don't buy more than they can pay for. Credit card idiots notwithstanding.

Hypocrite in Chief on the Debt Ceiling

There was a time when dear leader MaObama did not find it a good idea to raise the debt ceiling. That was when his big government brother Bush was raising the limit during his term. Seems raising the debt limit is only a good idea when your party is in power. Patriot Post uncovers this statement from MaObama when he was a senator in 2006:

"The fact that we are here today to debate raising America's debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the U.S. government can't pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our government's reckless fiscal policies. ... Increasing America's debt weakens us domestically and internationally. Leadership means that 'the buck stops here.' Instead, Washington is shifting the burden of bad choices today onto the backs of our children and grandchildren. America has a debt problem and a failure of leadership. Americans deserve better."

United States Has Lost the War on Terrorism - Government Continues Assault Against the People

The United States military may be winning the battles against terrorism but the war has been lost for the United States. Bin Laden may be dead and the cavemen terrorists are running around Afghanistan and Pakistan like the cowards they are, but we still lost. Why? Because we have allowed internal threats like the TSA destroy our liberty and freedoms. Terrorism has given our bureaucrats the excuse to act like imbeciles and control our lives. I'm not certain who is the bigger threat to our freedoms, the TSA or Al-Qaeda. I'm MORE afraid of our government than anything that may come from political Islam or any other terrorist group.

Gateway Pundit via The Daily News reported that the TSA agents forced a 95-year old lady, with leukemia, to remove her diapers. Are you fucking kidding me?

A woman has filed a complaint with federal authorities over how her elderly mother was treated at Northwest Florida Regional Airport last weekend.

Jean Weber of Destin filed a complaint with the Department of Homeland Security after her 95-year-old mother was detained and extensively searched last Saturday while trying to board a plane to fly to Michigan to be with family members during the final stages of her battle with leukemia.

Her mother, who was in a wheelchair, was asked to remove an adult diaper in order to complete a pat-down search.

“It’s something I couldn’t imagine happening on American soil,” Weber said Friday. “Here is my mother, 95 years old, 105 pounds, barely able to stand, and then this.”

Sari Koshetz, a spokeswoman for the Transportation Security Administration in Miami, said she could not comment on specific cases to protect the privacy of those involved.

“The TSA works with passengers to resolve any security alarms in a respectful and sensitive manner,” she said.

Our government continues its assault on the American people. When the hell are people going to wake up? Liberals and conservatives have to get their collective heads out of their asses and understand that we are losing our country.  We are losing the battle against the statists. There are big government types on both ends of the spectrum that want to control every aspect of your lives. The freedoms and liberties that were fought and died for are being destroyed. Your way of life is being taken away. Maybe one day you will need state permission to travel by plane. Maybe there will be checkpoints on our highways. Is that what you want? Are you OK with these idiots at the TSA groping your wife? Asking your mother to undress? Stand up. Stand for something besides American Idol.

Strangle the Government Tax and Spend Beast

The Congress is trying to come to an agreement for raising the debt ceiling. It seems to hinge on taxes. The leftists want more of your money. The conservatives are trying to allow people to keep what they earn. The leftists believe that wealth is the government's and that they will allow you to collect so much. Conservatives believe you earn your money and deserve to keep it.

The leftists are wrong. Politically speaking they are pandering to their base so they can stay in control. I have no interest in giving the government one more dime. They have proven that they only know how to spend. What makes anyone think that if they take even more money out of my paycheck that it will be spent any better? It won't. They will continue to over spend and borrow money we don't have.

It's time we strangle this beast. This is what Speaker Boehner and Majority Leader Cantor are trying to do along with hundreds of others in the Congress. The problem is that the spending cuts that they want, $2 trillion over 10 years are simply not deep enough. We can't afford this big government apparatus. The empire is broke. It's time to get serious about the debt and deficits. Of course that doesn't sit well with the leftists and their horrendous agenda of collapsing the economy in the United State.

Government Officials Can't Help Themselves - They Are Liars

Today Representative Anthony Wiener finally admitted to what we all knew, that he was lying about his Twitter affairs. I really don't care what the prick does on the Internet. I just don't want him to lie about it when asked. We deserve honest officials in our government. We have very few that would be honest.

For instance, surely you aren't naive to believe the crap the Obama Administration says about Libya. "No boots on the ground" my ass. The Democrats lied constantly about health care until it was rammed down our throats. "The health care bill will not increase the deficit by one dime." Nobody believes that crap.

Lying happens all over the globe. Japan admitted that the earthquake induced meltdown was much worse that suspected. From Zero Hedge via CNN:

The world knew this months ago. Why didn't Japan tell the truth?

I could fish story after story off the Internet detailing the lies governments tell their citizens. Some lie because they want to stay in power. Some lie to "protect" the citizens. Some lie to cover up crimes. I'm mostly concerned about America. Liars like Wiener, former President Clinton and current representative Charles Rangel infest our government. NY Voters Choose Entitlement Status Quo - Kicked Can to Their Grandchildren

It is clear that the takers are in full control of this country's economy. A Republican stronghold in NY was overtaken by a Democrat who demagogued the Ryan plan as it relates to Medicare. The American people seem to only care about what the government is going to provide them. Democrats seized on this mentality.

Democrat Kathy Hochul drew on voter discontent over Republican plans to revamp Medicare to score an upset win on Tuesday in a special election to represent a conservative upstate New York congressional district.

Virtually this entire race was fought over Medicare. Never mind that none of the changes in Medicare would effect anyone over 55 today. Never mind the system is broken and Republicans  took a stab at fixing it with a better plan. No, the people listened to the Democrats saying that the Republicans are taking away your Medicare. Nothing could be further from the truth.

See, if Medicare continues the way it is it will bankrupt this country. NOBODY will have this gov't safety net. These assholes who voted to keep the status quo in NY just shit all over their kids and grandkids. Sure they will keep theirs but any meaningful changes to the plan in 20 years won't happen. The attitude that NY has is the same across the country. Do not touch Medicare. Period. No matter if the changes will never affect me. Don't even talk about it.

Socialism always succumbs into an inglorious death. Statists continue to prop it up because they know that if they can keep people reliant on the government then they can stay in power. These Socialist programs will ultimately collapse and may even destroy this country. We cannot keep kicking this shit down the road. Obama Supports Racist Jew-Hating Hamas/Fatah State

Obama's Peace Prize is now more ironic than ever after his speech on the Middle East yesterday. As has been said many times in media Obama just threw Israel under the bus. He suggested that Israel go back to the pre-1967 borders. That is not going to happen without a war. His speech may go down in history as the singular event that ignited a Middle East war.

As an American I am fearful of living in my own country. Our federal government is nothing but jack-booted thugs. From the IRS to the TSA to the Secret Service citizens of this country are in danger of losing their liberties and freedoms. Hell, they have already lost them. But now our foreign policy, if you can call it that, is endangering our supposed allies.

I don't understand this President. He bows before tyrants and dictators, kow-tows to our enemies and turns around and insults our allies. Our enemies will never respect our weakness, which is HUGE with this inexperienced and naive President, and we are losing our allies. Allies like Israel.

I support Israel. I do not support Islam. I despise that our government is so tolerant of this ideology. They think rolling over for Islam is going to bring about peace. It's not. Interesting that Obama's vision of peace between Palestine and Israel hinges on Israel giving up everything.

America: The Politically Correct Assassins

As an American, do you feel safer now that Usama Bin Laden is dead? How much do you trust your government after the story unfolds about the operation? Do you feel good about your government essentially assassinating someone no matter how vile that person was? Revenge can feel good but at what cost? Are we any better dancing in the streets after killing Bin Laden than the Middle Eastern cavemen were when political Islam murdered 3,000 fellow citizens? I'm not sure how I feel about millions of Americans acting like apes after we assassinated Bin Laden. At once I am glad he is dead but I am also not sure I'm proud of our government. Who will we assassinate next?

Sure it's cool to think about the SEALs doing their thing but Americans should be better morally I think. Don't get me wrong, the SEALs did the job their commanders asked of them. They are badasses. But what was the point? We spent trillions of dollars for this one man. I'm sorry but we have had Al Qaeda neutralized for 9 years. Guess what? There are more immediate problems than a neutered Al Qaeda like Hammas and Muslim Brotherhood.

I realize that we have been fighting wars for 10 years but our government can't even bring themselves to say they are at war with (radical) Islam. We are engaged in a "kinectic military action." So what do you think, does political Islam think they are at war with the west like Bin Laden said or do they appreciate the Obama appeasement strategy of the "kma"? Political correctness does not work on any level. Muslims are still pissed today even after a supposed respectful burial after blowing Bin Laden's face off.

I am ready to bring home all the troops. The special forces dudes can go down and do their thing on the violent Mexican border. There are plenty of opportunities to practice their craft down there while at the same time protecting our borders. Politically that can't happen because god forbid we insult Latinos who might vote for the shitheads in office.

If a Muslim country asks for our assistance they can pay for the protection. If Israel is bothered by Lebanon or Egypt or Iran then we bomb the shit out of the offenders. We leave you alone. You leave us (and Israel) alone.

You know, I get why Americans were happy, happy, joy, joy with the demise of Bin Laden. We have had nothing to be happy about for about 4 years. Bush and Obama have been the worst thing to happen to this country. At least Bush loves his country. Obama sees nothing exceptional about America. That is the reason for the celebration. We FINALLY had something to be proud of. I want this country to kick ass. I want this country to be the best. For some reason Obama does not and prefers mediocrity.

Anyway, back to the original question, no I do not feel safer. I do not trust my government. I believe that our liberties will further erode AFTER the Bin Laden assassination.

You know, Bush captured Saddam Hussein. Hussein was put on trial. He was publicly hung. Muslims witnessed the arrest, trial and the death. No problems. Muslims constantly are releasing videos showing their sport of cutting off people's head. But for some reason Obama can't even release a photo of the hole in Bin Laden's face. Hell, they should release the video from the SEALs helmet cams as pay-per-view and use the proceeds to either pay down the debt or give to the Wounded Warrior Project.

And it is interesting how excited the left are over Obama's "leadership". For years they excoriated Bush for his Middle East war but now that Obama is in charge of the empire they are pissing themselves with joy. This country is completely screwed.

Oh Canada! Conservative Majority Sweeps to Election Victory

This didn't make news in the liberal media to their south, but Canadians just voted in a Conservative majority into their parliament. Looks like the statism that threatens to take over the world is running into some serious road blocks. Britain is in love with austerity these days. Now Canada. From Reuters via Yahoo News:

Investors greeted the result with relief.

If only the U.S. would get with the program. We now have the highest corporate taxes in the world. Our government refuses to allow our natural resources to be exploited. And the country is deep in debt. Hopefully our next elections are as successful.

Osama Bin Laden's Head Got in the Way of a SEAL Bullet

Osama bin Laden's head finally got in the way of a U.S. bullet. Seal Team Six apparently took him out and in fitting tribute, chucked his body into the ocean. The people of America have won a great victory. It's good to have the best military in the world. Almost 10 years ago political Islam rejoiced at the murder of over 3,000 INNOCENT Americans. Today millions of Americans rejoice at the death of the leader of Al Qaeda. The headlines are perfectly clear:

Cruelty, Greed and Incivility Rule the World

It's been a while since I have posted anything to this blog. Not that it matters as few read it anyway. I've had a hard time staying involved with anything that gets posted to the web or gets said on the TV. It's all so incredibly vitriolic. I've seen video recently of a transgendered person getting beat at a McDonald's while people stood there and watched. She went into seizures following the attack and the camera kept rolling. Today I watched a disturbing video of a man being shot and people just standing there as his life drained away without offering so much as a hand in comfort.

People are unbelievably cruel these days.

Muslims continue their persecution of Christians the world over. Nigerian Christians are the latest to feel the wrath of Islamic extremists. Political Islamists locked up pollsters and set the building on fire in retribution for the election of a Christian President. It's absolutely insane.

The cavemen in the Middle East continue to remove human heads for sport. On yet another video, I watched an atrocious beheading in Syria during their uprising. These people have no respect for humanity. Christians and Jews at least have morals. I don't know what Muslims stand for except destruction and death.

Here in the U.S. it is incredibly sad to watch this nation circle the drain. Socially, politically and economically this nation crumbling. We have a government that is bent on destroying the dollar. We owe more than we can ever pay yet the lumpen are fine with it as long as they get THEIR socialized healthcare and retirement funds. Regulations are strangling business. We cannot drill in the most obvious of locations for oil exploration. But we sure like it when Brazil and Saudi Arabia take our money in payment for their own oil. It is nuts.

Everything on the store shelves except effing iPads and 3D TVs are going up yet the government says inflation is in check. They are liars and simply trying to keep the banks afloat. Wall Street has effectively raped this country. And to what end? For a few years of prosperity before the whole thing collapses. For a few extra points on the DOW? It's sad.

I am proud to be a member of what Bill Maher calls "sad", "fat" and "useful idiots". That would be the Tea Party. It's a little tiresome to be constantly insulted by Maher and people of his ilk. You are not entitled to your view point because leftists do not agree with it, you see. I feel sorry for him. His hate must burn inside. His outlet is to stand in his bullypit and attack that which he doesn't agree with and obviously has no idea what it's about. He must be concerned about the Tea Party as he rails on the movement seemingly every week. That is a good thing. As long as he, and his ilk, are yapping about us then we are doing something right.

I'm tired of all the hateful rhetoric.

I'm tired of the left media. I'm tired of them constantly giving cover to the statists.

I can no longer read any comments on any blog. People are so full of hate and incivility on both sides. Few make a reasoned and educated point of view. It's easier just to insult one another.

When I was growing up people did not behave this way. I think it has to do with an empire in decline and a people who no longer have God in their life. There is just so much disregard for people, a lack of respect for ideas and thoughts and incivility toward differing points of view.

I'm unsure of the future. I've been in a homeschool bubble for many years and have seen children at our learning center that are devoted to God, their parents and personal morals. These kids inspire in ways that those in government schools never have and probably never will. My hope for this country lies with them as they go out and live their lives with a solid foundation.

Unfortunately it is those kids that have been dumped into the government system that I worry about. Our schools and education system suck. I see many of these kids supporting statism, Marxism and communism without knowing what exactly that means. They think they are being anarchists, and raging against the machine MAN!, when in fact they are nothing but useful idiots to statists that want control and power over the people. The government schools are too politically correct to actually teach useful economics, history and sociology.

Let the Damn Government Shut Down - Nobody Will Miss It

I do not care if the government shuts down. Despite the dire warnings from the leftists nothing is going to happen. Sure you might not be able to visit your favorite government tourist attraction but mostly life will go on. The sun will come up. The coffee will brew. Your kids will still want to play. It will be amazing to (re)-discover how useless the government really is to your life. The statists will be sad but screw 'em, I look forward to a shutdown.

It wasn't that long ago when the government created their own shut down of their own. Thousands of jobs were lost, a few businesses went bankrupt and the economy was decimated in the Gulf states when the greenies of the administration decided no more Gulf drilling.

People have begged the government to open up the drilling permits but they continue to stonewall drilling in the Gulf. They are happy to spend money to drill in Brazil but let's not drill here in the States. It's a helluva shut down. A lot more costly than a bunch of bureaucrats shuffling papers across the desks.(Understand that more oil is not exactly the solution lower fuel costs. We can at least partially blame The Bernake for destroying the dollar. If we had a stronger dollar, oil would not be as costly.)

Anyway, tonight the government may shut down. I don't care if it does or doesn't. What we need are leaders that are ready to lead fiscally. Obama thinks that a shutdown will be good for Democrats. He is assuming a lot. People are a lot more aware of the bullshit going on than they were. The children in Congress can play politics but the people are ready for some damn spending cuts. The Dems had all last year to create a budget and they decided it was best to do nothing because of the elections. Now here we are.

Planned Parenthood is one of the issues the Democrats are using to scare folks. The Democraps want federal funding for baby killing. The Republicans prefer if people want to kill their unborn babies then they should do it on their own dime. It's a woman's decision in my opinion. But I'll be damned if I want to pay for another woman's decision to destroy her baby. But mostly Democrats do not want to cut spending.

The Republicans are trying to hold firm with their pitiful spending cuts. As pathetic as they are they have to hold firm. No debt ceiling increase. Stop the damn spending. Austerity for all!

American Takers Have Overwhelmed the Makers

Looks like the judicial activists are going to destroy any attempts at sane government worker reform in Wisconsin. The takers are overwhelming the producers in the state which is sad because Wis., along with Indiana, are the only two states currently with more manufacturing jobs than government bureaucrats. Change is going to be almost impossible. The government unions do not want to give up their power and the liberals want producers to pay up. Governor Walker gave it a nice shot but the liberals are just not going to give up their socialist tendencies and desire to destroy the capitalist economy.

The Wall Street Journal had a great article from Stephen Moore titled: "We've Become a Nation of Takers, Not Makers". Indeed.

If you want to understand better why so many states—from New York to Wisconsin to California—are teetering on the brink of bankruptcy, consider this depressing statistic: Today in America there are nearly twice as many people working for the government (22.5 million) than in all of manufacturing (11.5 million). This is an almost exact reversal of the situation in 1960, when there were 15 million workers in manufacturing and 8.7 million collecting a paycheck from the government.

It gets worse. More Americans work for the government than work in construction, farming, fishing, forestry, manufacturing, mining and utilities combined. We have moved decisively from a nation of makers to a nation of takers. Nearly half of the $2.2 trillion cost of state and local governments is the $1 trillion-a-year tab for pay and benefits of state and local employees. Is it any wonder that so many states and cities cannot pay their bills?

It is so sad to live during the decline of this country. It really must have been something to watch the country grow, create entrepreneurs, enjoy freedoms and have immigrants the world over risk life and finances for a chance at living in America. It is maddening how eager the citizens were to give up their liberty in return for state run security. The government has grown so big that it does not even need to follow the Constitution.

I can tell you that for the first time ever I do not feel safe living in this country. Not because of crime or anything of the sort, but from government. From the IRS to local police, I never know if I am going to be treated fairly. There are so many rules and regulations that it's hard to know if you are doing the right thing or not. We are now slaves to our government. We are an embarrassment to our Founding Fathers.

Glenn Beck delivered an outstanding monologue discussing why the United States is no longer supportive of Israel. His statement about what country in the Middle East shares the values that we as Americans do. The answer is obviously Israel. Then why are we not standing with them? It's a great question. One that he answers in a reasonable and thoughtful manner. I stand with Israel as well.

Idiot Statist Alert! Senator Frank Lautenberg THINKS He Gives the People Freedom

My head just exploded. It is so difficult to live in the same reality as asshat liberals who have no concept of the Constitution. It makes me sad for this country and what the Founders set up. The latest joy comes from Democratic Senator Frank Lautenberg (NJ). He has ZERO concept of the document that he swore to uphold. The Blaze reports:

Is It U.S. and U.N. Hypocrisy Not to Aid Syria Protestors Now?

The U.S. has come to the aid of Libya. At least that is what I think is happening when Obama decided to make a decision 3 weeks after the uprisings and join France on the bombing runs. They seemed to justify our intrusion in this civil war by saying we are protecting the rebels. Saving the civilians. We flung 100 Tomahawks downrange and the administration still will not call it what it is which is WAR. The administration like all the rest before him up to FDR, never declared war like our constitution requires. They just decided what was best and began shooting.

Today Syria is the latest Muslim country testing their tyrannical leaders. I don't care one way or another about any of these countries. Let them fight it out. Best man wins. I don't know why we are participating in any of it. We made our statement in Afghanistan after Al qaeda attacked New York City. We smoked them. The ran and hid in Pakistan. We should take our bullets and come home. Fuck the Taliban and the rest of the cavemen. I don't know why we are still engaged in Iraq and Afghanistan. Now Libya.

So anyway, why are we not going to the aid of the Syrians? I mean, not that the U.S. and Obama can take the high road for hypocrisy but damn, isn't the same thing going on in Syria as is happening in Libya?

Liberals Think Drilling is Not Solution to Creating Jobs

It's really tough to observe ignorance. It sucks even more when ideology gets in the way of facts. Facts which liberals really do not care to acknowledge. Gateway Pundit via CSN News reported that Rep. Rob Andrews (D-N.J.) and Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-Fla.) think that drilling is a problem and not a solution to creating jobs. I know...who in the hell vote for these people??? I guess much like the Internet is a problem and not a solution to creating jobs. Or railroads are a problem and not a solution to creating jobs.

Good grief the oil and gas industry supports 9.2 million jobs across the country. It creates over 2 million directly.

For the last 30 years liberals like Wasserman has discouraged drilling in the U.S. by saying something to the effort of it will not have an immediate impact on supplies and price. Or it will take 10 years for the oil that is drilled to come online. Well if we had gone ahead and drilled in 2000 and not listened to someone like Senator Feinstein of California who fights against exploiting our resources every chance she gets then today we would reaping the benefits of that effort.

Liberals Quiet as Obama Drags U.S. Into Another Middle East War

Hey libs, how ya liking your man now? You folks elected Obama because he was the anti-Bush. Because he opposed the Iraq war. Funny how all you leftists are damn sure quiet this evening as the president launched 100 missile into Libya. This little African adventure by this man is ridiculous. It is not our war. I am tired of the U.S. war machine. This country cannot afford to sling million dollar missiles down range.

So the leftists will now argue that there needs to be a world police. That the U.S. has a duty to be involved. Not that the people in Iraq deserved the opportunity to be free of course. That was wrong. That was Bush looking to secure oil. Look, I was fine when we invaded Iraq but soon reservations about it, though getting rid of Hussein was a good thing. Hunting Al Qaeda in Afghanistan was great but now they have fled to neighboring countries and this stupid war we are fighting against the cavemen is just idiotic. And I'm tired of our country trying to drag them into post-Jesus time.

So what exactly is Obama doing in Libya? There is no way this war will be won in the air. If the leftists want the rebels victorious (and what the hell will that mean?) then boots will have to be on the ground. The rebels in Libya can't do it alone. Ghadafi is a tyrant, mass murderer and a disgusting human being. He deserves to be overthrown. But damn, we can't afford this shit. The Democrats love war. The Republicans love war. It is truly astonishing.

And what is up with France? Never before have they been so motivated to be involved in a conflict. Maybe for them it really is about oil. They get about 15% of their oil from Libya.

There used to be a time that before we went to war a vote would go before Congress. Now we just usurp the Constitution and allow the president to engage in war activities whether our representatives want it or not via the War Powers Act. Congress is timid and are perfectly happy allowing the president make the decision anyway. This has to stop. What exactly is our interests in Libya? Are they our ally? Nope. Do the people of Libya like Americans? Nope. Will they like us more after blowing up their shit? Nope.

Instead of Obama golfing, vacationing and filling out his brackets, I would have had more respect for the man if he simply came out forcefully and thoughtfully and said, " we can't afford this shit and have no reason to put our warriors in another conflict." But he has showed no leadership and waited until the Brits and French unzipped their fly before committing. Sad.
