Political Correctness is Destroying This Country

We are losing our country to political correctness. You can no longer hear anything on TV or radio or read anything that is not put through a filter of the liberal's choosing. Of course if they say something then it must be OK. This week we are all hyper sensitive over the use of words like "target", "shoot", "aim", "zero in", etc. Last week we debated the use of "retarded". "Manhole" is apparently offensive to someone so now we use utility cover. I'm white, you're black, but let's put a different label on the truth. And around and around it goes. When did we become such wimps in this country? What is this politically correct bullshit really about? Is it to keep the herd in line?



I do not know how people on TV can stand to work in this environment. There are entities like Media Matters whose job it is to apparently do nothing but watch Fox News 24/7 and find anything that they can present to their fellow liberals to use to try to ultimately ruin people's lives like Glenn Beck. Beck is their target today because the left would have you believe he said to his audience to 'shoot people in the head'. He didn't.

Obviously if you ever spend an objective moment watching the show you would know that put in the proper context this is not remotely what he was saying to do. But liberals are not fond of truth and honor so they use his words, without context, to smear him. Unfortunately for liberals a huge majority of people are waking up to their immature games. They look foolish.

The NBC liberal machine, along with the other left media, are in desperate times right now. Liberalism was destroyed last November and the people like it. Big government is being attacked and targeted (Yes I said it) by conservatives, Libertarians and the right and the left is scared. to. death. They are doing everything they can to divert attention to what is really going on: That America is actively rejecting their statist desires. It is glorious. But we have to suffer through suffocating bullshit like political correctness. While the big issues like health care, debt, jobs and Iran are on the table they want to have a scrap about what something sounds like in the nation's discourse. It's pathetic and childish.

The utter nonsense coming out of the mouths of the NBC machine and from the collection of words on liberal blogs is astonishing. A lot of conservative bloggers like to report on the hypocrisy and stupidity from the statists. I wish we would simply ignore them. I'm guilty of it too I suppose, but I am tired of reporting on what the left is reporting on simply because they are idiots. Is that really news or discussion worthy anymore. It's like everyone wants to be a critic. "Chris Matthews calls Palin stupid". Is that really worth noting anymore?

We get it. The left hates the right. Their liberal utopia in the U.S. is being destroyed and the attention that Palin and the rest get do not help. So they must tear them down. It doesn't work so they redouble their lame efforts. Whoop-de-doo. We on the right give them more attention than their supposed audience. If we didn't acknowledge the sewage they spewed from their pie holes it would simply slide into oblivion along with spam and college thesis'.

NAACP Covers Washington Statue in a Box During MLK Celebration

This is disgraceful. The NAACP covered up the bronze statue of George Washington at the South Carolina statehouse celebration of MLK yesterday. Imagine if folks turned out to celebrate Washington's birthday (with the same zeal as those attending MLK events, natch) and they covered up any references to MLK. It would cause a riot. 14 Trillion in Debt - Congratulations America! It's a New Record!

America is now 14 trillion dollars in debt. Between Bush and Obama, the government has created a burden that we, our children and our grandchildren may never be able to pay. Our futures are fucked. In a couple of months the debt ceiling will rise. Some will say this is bad. Some will say it's necessary. I don't think they should raise it unless they come to some agreement to end this madness.

I'm tired of the nation building. I'm tired of the wars. I'm tired of the pork, whatever the size. I'm tired of union paybacks. I'm tired of bullshit military programs that no one in the military want but Congress makes them keep. I'm tired of expanding government. I'm tired of bureaucracy we don't need. I'm tired of the culture of corruption in Washington. I'm tired of paying for a government that does little more than keep themselves in power. I'm tired of producers paying for moochers.

We are an embarrassment.

The Left Working Hard to Break Sarah Palin

The left is a sordid bunch of people. It's a good thing that they have full backing and complicity of the media or there would actually be a story reported daily concerning the threats they level at fellow Americans.

Sarah Palin is incredibly strong willed. I'm not sure the average person could take the hideous abuse that she does. Could you imagine if you woke up one morning to discover that a Facebook fanpage had been set up wishing for your ultimate demise? Sarah Palin has. It's titled “I hate it when I wake up and Sarah Palin is still alive.” It has a drawing of her pointing a gun at her head in a state of derangement.

Imagine if that was your mom. Your wife. Your sister. Your grandma. How would you feel? In what universe is this type of hate OK? I get that some people do not agree with this woman's policies. Fine. Debate it. If you have any ideas other than asking for her suicide then, please, kick it in.

But the problem is no one on the left has ideas that make sense. None of their ideas are what the majority of Americans want in their lives. So like little children they throw a tantrum. Their only response is to attack because their ideas are bankrupt. The American people have rejected them. Since the left minority, the elite, have been rejected they have decided to insult those, they think, embody the American ideals. Glenn Beck, Sarah Palin, etc. Problem is the left is looking petty and foolish. And now they are looking dangerous.

71 Percent of Americans Say No Way to Debt Ceiling Increase

Shocking results from a poll conducted about the debt ceiling.71 percent of Americans do not want the ceiling raised. I think we are all getting it. Just not our government overlords.

The U.S. public overwhelmingly opposes raising the country's debt limit even though failure to do so could hurt America's international standing and push up borrowing costs, according to a Reuters/Ipsos poll released on Wednesday.

Some 71 percent of those surveyed oppose increasing the borrowing authority, the focus of a brewing political battle over federal spending. Only 18 percent support an increase.

The poll underscores the tough task ahead for U.S. lawmakers as the debt nears its current ceiling of $14.3 trillion. Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner last week warned that a failure to raise the borrowing limit in the coming months could lead to "catastrophic economic consequences."

I think people are willing to go ahead a suffer the consequences. If not now, when? Are we going to keep kicking this shit down the road? I would absolutely rather deal with the pain than have my kids and grandkids deal with it in 10-20-30 years. We are stealing from future generations and destroying their future all so we can continue our little party.

The moral thing to do is think about our children's future and stop being selfish. Time to fix the economic mess and not leave it for future generations to clean up after us.
