MSNBC must be quietly thankful for Glenn Beck and other conservative luminaries. I'm not sure the leftist pundits would have anything to talk about if not for smearing Beck and his ilk. I can only gather that they have nothing of intellectual weight to discuss so they sit around and think about Glenn Beck and how he is effing up the leftist radical agenda.
I've watched Beck's shows. Every thing he discusses he backs up with quotes and video. I'm not sure how you can dispute that evidence, and the interesting thing is MSNBC does not have the intelligence to even try. Their response is like Joe Scarbourough's recent observation that Beck is “losing it before our eyes”. What is it about Beck and FoxNews that twists the leftists up in knots? Why can't they simply ignore the channel if it bothers them so much? MSNBC seems to exists solely to watch what FoxNews does, like Media Matters. It's astonishing that they have nothing original to discuss. Let me tell you what they will discuss next week: They think FoxNews lies and Glenn Beck is crazy. They don't have an intellectual fact to back this up but this is what they will tell their few hundred thousand listeners.
What I think is that the leftists KNOW that Beck is correct. They are scared that someone with media weight is uncovering their agenda. The right is pushing back like never before. They never saw the Tea Party coming. They figured that once Obama came to office that a new Progressive movement would sweep the country, and the world, with little opposition or interest. They cannot understand why conservatives are not sitting on their couches watching NASCAR and eating venison stew while they succumb to the radical takeover of the U.S.
Beck is a product of the people of this country waking up and deciding enough is enough with the radical takeover. If you don't follow statism then you are racist. If you support limited government then you are greedy. If you aren't politically correct then you are a bigot. The leftists have plenty of ways to smear the right yet seem to have few means to intellectually debate the issue.
What I would like is for someone to honestly take on Beck and the points he makes on his TV show. I would like for the leftists to specifically state where he has it wrong. I have yet to discover anyone with the political honestly on the left to take on that challenge. What they are reduced to is 4th grade name calling and Rules for Radicals. The louder the left gets, the smaller they seem. I get more and more interested in Beck the more he irritates the leftists. If there wasn't something to his arguments then the leftists would simply ignore him. As it is, he must really be hitting a nerve. I like that.

The Left Wish Scott Walker Dead - Disturbing Death Threat Tweets
This is sickening. It is scary what the leftists have become. You cannot even have civil discourse with them. They are violent. They are vengeful. They are mean-spirited. And they say the Tea Party is violent. What a load of shit. Find ONE Tweet by a true Tea Party patriot that is as vial vile as what these people are saying. At least the mainstream media has their back. You won't find this reported on MSNBC. Keep it classy leftists.

Government Unions are a National Disgrace
The world is burning. Yes I realize that most Americans are more concerned about what Jennifer Lopez is wearing on American Idol or whether Cam Newton will be the first QB drafted into the NFL. But there is real problems in dangerous places the world over. And despite Iran looking for the 12th Imam, Egypt rapidly descending into an Islamist state, and Bahrain, Libya, Jordan, Yemen all erupting into chaos, I find myself more concerned at this moment whether the public service unions are going to win the battle against the private sector.
See government unions do not want to lose control over your money. Right now you/we are paying them better than you might be getting paid yourself. You provide them with subsidized health insurance, you provide them with a generous pension plan and you provide them numerous sick days and vacation time. Ask yourself how awesome your health insurance is at your job. Are you getting a great deal with your retirement account? Are you lucky enough to have an employer who matches your contributions? Do you get more than a two weeks vacation or do you have to work for 5-10 years to obtain more days. Chances are, if you are a regular Joe working in the private sector your taxes are paying for a far better deal for the government union workers.
Right now there is a battle in Wisconsin over collective bargaining. The state is broke and is asking for concessions with the union. Under Governor Walker's plan, most public workers - excluding police, firefighters and state troopers - would have to pay half of their pension costs and at least 12 percent of their health-care costs. They would lose bargaining rights for anything other than pay. is this really that unreasonable? It's all about power. The power that the unions have over YOUR money.
Teachers are on their third day of boycotts. Kids are not in school. How awesome is that? Maybe you shouldn't show up for work and see what your employer thinks. Remember all those fights that the teacher groups have over money and how they say if they don't get more cash then the children will suffer? I don't see any teacher giving a shit about kids today. They are more worried about their power.
Last November the electorate across the country sent a clear message that is desperately trying to be ignored by every Democrat in power from the President down to a state representative. That message is to stop spending. States like New Jersey and Wisconsin are broke and the blame can pretty much be laid at the feet of unions. The goodie sacks can no longer be funded. So governors like Christie in NJ and Walker in Wisconsin are making tough choices to reign in the costs. The union herd HATES it. And they are fighting.
The problem is that November signaled a return to fiscal responsibility. Wisconsin is typically a liberal state but the folks voted in the GOP as governor, the state legislator and a U.S. Senator. The message was clear. The measures are exactly what the people asked for. But the Marxists, socialists, statists and Democrats have different ideas. They are organizing in Wisconsin. They are also going to organize in Ohio and Indiana.
And who might they be? None other than the Obama administration operatives. Obama’s campaign group Organizing For America is already actively engaged in the protests. They are working hard to get members to change their mind about voting against the unions.
While this drama unfolds in Madison the chicken shit Democrats simply are not going to show up to vote. See the GOP to vote to pass the bill. But they can't have the vote if all of the Dems are not in attendance. So now they are hiding in another state. These pieces of shit say they are going to hide out for weeks if it comes to it. Run away Dems. Run away. How humiliating it must be to be from Wisconsin.
This country is in deep trouble. This unholy alliance between unions and Democrats is a great danger to this country. You exist to pay for their power. The Dems will tax you. They will enslave the government unions to stay in power. The rank in file are forced to pay dues to stay in the union. It's corrupt and sick. But they have bussed thousands of useful idiots to hold up signs and agitate at state capitals.
This country is burning while the world burns around it. Instead of working together to bring sanity to our country for the common good we have selfish people trying to keep power, take your money as well as bankrupt the nation. Obama is the most incompetent President we have ever had. It is almost like he and his merry band of radicals are working from the inside to tear down this once great country. I do not know if we will make it to 2012.
I support Governor Scott Walker. I hope he has the fortitude and strength to win this battle against the state union. It's an important battle. One that Obama has decided is keenly important to his agenda and re-election attempt. Government unions have to be defeated. Walker's rhetoric sounds like he is up for the challenge. From The Hill:
In your face Obama! lol
I think the unions are on the losing side of this issue. A larger majority of people who pay their bills would like for them to simply STFU and get with the program of saving this country from financial ruin.

Walker also fired back at President Obama, who sided with the public employees, saying on Fox News Friday, "We are focused on balancing our budget. It would be wise for the government and others in Washington to focus on balancing their budgets, which they are a long way off from doing."
In your face Obama! lol

Herman Cain for President in 2012
Until someone better comes along Herman Cain is my man for President. And frankly from what I have seen, there won't be anyone better qualified or more able to be President in 2012. Herman Cain is popular with the Tea Party. Will he get elected? Probably not as Republicans and the electorate prefer the establishment over someone fresh and able. Get to know him. There is a lot to like.
The American Thinker has come up with the Top Ten Reasons to Support Herman Cain for President:
The American Thinker has come up with the Top Ten Reasons to Support Herman Cain for President:
10. The "race card": A Cain candidacy not only takes the race card off the table -- it might in fact put it in the Republicans' camp. Frankly, Cain is "blacker" than Obama in every way imaginable. He does not have a white parent. He has a slight black dialect and does not "turn it off" to impress Harry Reid or Joe Biden, nor does he "amp it up" to impress Jeremiah Wright.
As Obama's presidency has shown, America did not need a black president. What America needs is to just get over the race thing, period. Cain is over it, and I bet he would flat-out tell Obama to get over it, too.
9. Been there, done that: Cain brings a lot of "been there, done that" to the office, and that is in stark contrast not only to Obama, but to almost anyone else running. Cain is not shy about making fun of politicians' lack of understanding of the reality of the free-enterprise system, and certainly no group embodies that ignorance more than Obama and his administration. Making a payroll; dealing with employees, the IRS, the INS, insurance companies; dealing with rents, lawsuits, unemployment commissions, etc. -- Cain has been there, done that. Obama has not.
8. Not forgettable: One Herman Cain soundbite is worth ten from Tim...um, what's his name? Oh, yeah, Pawlenty. Cain's boldness and confidence and accent and voice will cut through the noise out there, and this makes his candidacy dangerous even if he faces some financial handicaps versus other folks running. He is a talk radio host now by trade and knows how to hold folks' attention.
7. Will break every rule set for him by "strategists": This one might be my favorite. Cain has never counted on political strategists to get him where he is now, and this alone separates him from all other candidates. Lord help the first "strategist" from the RNC who advises Cain to "tone it down" or "soften his position."
6. Will really get under the skin of the Washingtonian class: A Cain candidacy would drive David Brooks to apoplexy. Charles Krauthammer -- doing his best to run off legions of his longtime fans -- would no doubt find some Palinesque reasons to object to Cain. And those are the conservative ruling-class folks. Imagine what the liberals will say about this non-Ivy league, non-elected Southern black guy running for president. I can't wait to hear it.
5. Will not get in way of the 2010 Congress' momentum: This might be the most important reason to support a Cain candidacy. He has gained momentum as part of the Tea Party movement that was the defining factor in the 2010 congressional elections. A Cain candidacy would be in lockstep with what the country told Congress it wanted in November 2010. It will be an extension of the 2010 campaign, and that's preferable to a presidential election that will distract from the 2010 results.
4. Never held office before: While Cain's opponents -- on both sides of the aisle -- are licking their chops over this one, they should rethink this. Mr. Cain already has a lethal (can we still say that?) response to this one: "Everyone in Washington has held public office before. How's that working out for you?" Case closed.
3. Ann Coulter's second-favorite pick: So Ann's first choice is Chris Christie, and Cain comes in second. With some 25 names floating around out there, being number 2 on anyone's list is pretty good at this point in the game. Besides, I predict that Cain will overtake Christie on Ann's list. Cain is more conservative and even less afraid to speak his mind. While I love Christie's boldness on the issues where he is conservative, he will wobble off to the Jersey left a bit on some issues. Cain will not.
2. Will not be cowed by the new speech police: The attempt by the left to silence conservatives in light of the Tucson shootings will not be the last. And you can bet that when they do, some on the right will recoil and fall prey, regardless of how mindless the attempts are. If you have followed Herman Cain, you know that this will not be an issue for him.
And the number one reason to support a Cain candidacy? It opens the door to a ticket of Cain and Haley Barbour in some order. OK, maybe this is not earthshaking, but imagine the "racist Republican Party" putting forth a national ticket including a drawlin' Mississippi good ol' boy and a black businessman who still speaks a smidgen of Ebonics.

Democrats Silent on Gas Prices Unlike the Bush Years
Heard on the radio this morning that analysts are expecting $4/gallon gasoline by summer and $5/gallon by 2012. Back in '06, '07 and '08 there was a lot of public outcry and political pressure on President Bush to do something. It's curious to me why no one seems to care about high gasoline prices like they did 5 years ago. I suppose that people have simply gotten used to paying $3/gallon. Why, just last month Ford sold more of their gas guzzling Explorer vehicles than ever before. I wonder how people will react to $5/gallon gas. I know I won't be happy.
The Democrats were quick to blame Bush over high prices. I'm not hearing any Democrats have as much concern over the prices since Obama got in the White House. Curious isn't it?
The New York Times reported April 25, 2006:
Seems we can't afford Obama either.
The Washington Times reported on April 25, 2006:
And Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid of Nevada said
I haven't heard a word from these two since Obama became President. In fact they have been complicit in keeping the U.S. from drilling new sources of oil. They don't seem as concerned now. Oil companies are making tons of money drilling overseas yet we haven't heard a thing from Pelosi on "price gouging" during her or Obama's watch.
On Apri 30, 2008 AZCentral via Washington Post quoted Sen. Amy Klobuchar, a Democrat from Minnesota saying:
We still want answers. The Democrats are quite silent about this now since they basically got what they wanted which was no drilling in America.
We have been debating drilling and exploration with the liberal environmentalists for 10-20 years.
On July 15, 2008 the Washington Post reported:
Well, we are now in a gas price emergency. 3 years of drilling and exploration sure would have gotten us closer to solving this problem.
We have a major problem. The Democrats have limited our ability to explore and recover oil in America. There are also policies that have us growing food for fuel sources. Using corn for fuel has not reduced the fuel prices and has only made our food prices increase.
The Democrats were quick to blame Bush over high prices. I'm not hearing any Democrats have as much concern over the prices since Obama got in the White House. Curious isn't it?
The New York Times reported April 25, 2006:
Representative Nancy Pelosi, Democrat of California, called Tuesday for a bipartisan effort to bring down prices by the end of May. But in a response to Bush's speech, she said that the recent price rise showed that the Republican administration had been too cozy with the oil industry. "America can no longer afford George W. Bush as president," she said.
Seems we can't afford Obama either.
The Washington Times reported on April 25, 2006:
House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi of California will hold a press conference today to call on the administration to “stop price gouging.”
And Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid of Nevada said
does anyone think it’s fair to have consumers pay $100 a week to fill their fuel tanks...?
I haven't heard a word from these two since Obama became President. In fact they have been complicit in keeping the U.S. from drilling new sources of oil. They don't seem as concerned now. Oil companies are making tons of money drilling overseas yet we haven't heard a thing from Pelosi on "price gouging" during her or Obama's watch.
On Apri 30, 2008 AZCentral via Washington Post quoted Sen. Amy Klobuchar, a Democrat from Minnesota saying:
People don't have time for finger-pointing from the White House right now.
They have listened to this president for eight years: for eight years that these gas prices have gone up and up and up, for eight years after these oil prices have gone up and up and up, and they want answers.
We still want answers. The Democrats are quite silent about this now since they basically got what they wanted which was no drilling in America.
We have been debating drilling and exploration with the liberal environmentalists for 10-20 years.
On July 15, 2008 the Washington Post reported:
Senator Dianne Feinstein, Democrat of California, said the president was “deluding the American public into believing that new offshore drilling is a quick fix to $4 per gallon gasoline.” Like others, she noted that drilling offshore would have no immediate effect.
Even if new offshore drilling were allowed off the coast of California and along the outer continental shelf, which I wholly and resolutely oppose, she said, it won’t produce oil in time to solve the gas price emergency American consumers are facing right now.

Obama Administration Discloses UK Missle Secrets to Russia
This is stunning. I think my heart skipped a beat as I read this. From Gateway Pundit via The Telegraph:
This President is a dangerous man. I cannot believe that we would throw our staunch allies like the U.K., Israel among others under the proverbial bus and naively believe if we do that countries like Russia and Iran would feel better about America. These countries will still hate America and what we stand for no matter how many times our President apologizes and in the meantime we will have destroyed years of friendship of longtime allies.
Where the hell is the media on this? I wish they would do their job.
The US secretly agreed to give the Russians sensitive information on Britain’s nuclear deterrent to persuade them to sign a key treaty, The Daily Telegraph can disclose.
Information about every Trident missile the US supplies to Britain will be given to Russia as part of an arms control deal signed by President Barack Obama next week.
Defence analysts claim the agreement risks undermining Britain’s policy of refusing to confirm the exact size of its nuclear arsenal.
The fact that the Americans used British nuclear secrets as a bargaining chip also sheds new light on the so-called “special relationship”, which is shown often to be a one-sided affair by US diplomatic communications obtained by the WikiLeaks website.
Details of the behind-the-scenes talks are contained in more than 1,400 US embassy cables published to date by the Telegraph, including almost 800 sent from the London Embassy, which are published online today. The documents also show that…
…A series of classified messages sent to Washington by US negotiators show how information on Britain’s nuclear capability was crucial to securing Russia’s support for the “New START” deal.
Although the treaty was not supposed to have any impact on Britain, the leaked cables show that Russia used the talks to demand more information about the UK’s Trident missiles, which are manufactured and maintained in the US.
Washington lobbied London in 2009 for permission to supply Moscow with detailed data about the performance of UK missiles. The UK refused, but the US agreed to hand over the serial numbers of Trident missiles it transfers to Britain.

Dems Shift Blame to CIA for Egypt Debacle
Seems there needs to be someone to blame the Egypt situation on here in the United States. The Democrats are not about to turn on themselves and blame Obama so they decided the CIA should take the blame. Maybe the CIA should. Maybe they shouldn't. The CIA didn't do Bush any favors with the whole weapons of mass destruction deal in Iraq, but he had to sit in the shit regardless. Obama should have to do the same. This is his administration. If in fact Egypt is lost to radical Islam then Obama can suck on the blame. Seems only fair. More from Gateway Pundit via FoxNation:
Maybe the CIA did their job and Obama simply did not want to get involved. Who knows? It's still his administration, his State Department, his responsibility. Whether this turns out good or bad it's on him.
The debate over who “lost” Egypt seems to have begun.
Critics are openly questioning the quality of information and analysis given to President Barack Obama by U.S. intelligence agencies in the days leading up to the dramatic uprising against Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak. And they are raising questions about the effectiveness of his efforts to force the 82-year-old strongman to step down.
Administration officials, speaking on condition of anonymity, admit that some mistakes were made and some signals were missed. And, even as they frantically try to negotiate Mubarak’s departure and avert more violence, they argue that their options and leverage would have been limited even had Obama been warned long in advance of the unrest that would sweep Egypt.
Maybe the CIA did their job and Obama simply did not want to get involved. Who knows? It's still his administration, his State Department, his responsibility. Whether this turns out good or bad it's on him.
Unemployment Down to 9% - Where Did 700K People Go?
Hurray! Unemployment plummets 0.4% to 9%. 36,000 more people found work. Wait, what? Pelosi, Reid and Obama promised that spending trillions of dollars in stimulus would create jobs. Only 36K were found? Surely they could find more people to install all those solar panels. Of course, government officials says the weather kept people from looking for work.
So to get this number down, the government had to essentially eliminate 700,000 people from the workforce. Where did these people go? This country is not creating jobs and people continue to just give up looking for work. Last month it was 500,000. This month it is 700,000. This can't be good. So at this rate, to get unemployment down to a level that can get Obama re-elected, we need for another 7 million or so to stop looking for work. Or go missing. Whatever works for the government's misleading and dishonest accounting of the nation's unemployment situation.

EPA Says Spilled Milk is Now a Hazardous Material
The United States Evironmental Protection Agency is now regulating milk spills. That's right, these absolute idiots of the first order, are making farmers come up with emergency management plans detailing how they are going to handle a milk spill. Apparently milk has oil.
Who knew that millions of Americans daily were ingesting a hazardous material?
What is going to happen when Johnny spills his milk at a restaurant? Will they have to close it down?
Is the environment really in danger if a farmer loses a thousand gallons of milk from containment?
Does the farmer really need to spend thousands of dollars on containment facilities and training of first responders only to pass these costs on to the consumer?
That's right. Don't laugh. First reponders to a milk spill. It could only happen in a comic book or in the United States. Our country has lost the battle with common sense.
This is a bureaucracy that is clearly without any intelligence. This country would be better off if Congress simply stopped funding this piece of shit department. This is the stupidest thing I have read...at least this week, from our inept administration. It's all about control.

Tennessee Bill to Take Power Away From Teacher Unions
Two Tennessee lamakers have filed paperwork that would effectively render teacher unions in the state kaput. House Bill 130 sponsored by Rep. Debra Maggart, a Republican who represents Hendersonville, Gallatin and portions of Goodlettsville, and Rep. Glen Casada, Republican from College Grove, would prohibit "any local board of education from negotiating with a professional employees' organization or teachers' union concerning the terms or conditions of professional service on or after the effective date of this bill." The report from The Tennessean indicates it will be up to Republican Governor Bill Hazlin and what his education agenda is.
It deserves to be supported.
The bill is also just the beginning for reforming education in the state.
Anything to remove the power of the unions is a good thing. I'm glad Tennessee is leading the way.
It deserves to be supported.
...the bill would put the taxpayers back in charge of public education. Cash-strapped local school boards would be able to make spending decisions based on what's best for children, instead of what will keep adult employees happy.
And keeping the teacher unions happy has proven to be an expensive enterprise. Labor costs typically consume 80 percent to 85 percent of a school's total budget. A standard teacher contract includes lavish insurance and pension benefits, automatic annual pay raises for teachers (regardless of classroom performance), generous compensation for unused sick days and numerous other wasteful provisions.
Deep-sixing teachers' collective bargaining privileges would mean that Tennessee's school children will no longer be forced to settle for budget leftovers.
The bill is also just the beginning for reforming education in the state.
This group of state legislators also wants to end the practice of withholding union dues from teacher paychecks, and loosen the union's power to appoint members to state boards.
Such bold measures would make Tennessee a leader in the education reform movement, alongside Indiana and New Jersey.
Anything to remove the power of the unions is a good thing. I'm glad Tennessee is leading the way.
